In reply to Morgan. If you wish to you can cook regular rice separately then add to soup as much as you like towards the end. That's how I cooked it came out great. I prefer regular rice to instant rice. Deb

Hi! I’m looking to try this recipe but want to use regular (not instant) white rice, as that’s what we keep in the house. Does the cooking time remain the same? If not, how would you recommend adjusting it?
