If you have the opportunity to hold your baby while he sleeps then I say go for it. Out of curiosity do you wrap/swaddle him for sleep. Usually it’s the body startling that wakes the child up which he won’t be experiencing if he is being held but might be if you put him down. It was a foreign concept to me all those years ago as I’m originally from the UK and they don’t swaddle/wrap babies there but here in Australia they do. Worked a treat once I got the hang of it, mine hated their hands being wrapped so I wrapped them with their hands up at the side of their face. Enjoy him to the max, they grow up way too quickly. I’ve been very nostalgic lately – mine are 17,15,14 (and all about to hit the side of the year where those numbers go up by 1), I’ve been reminiscing and wishing I had really slowed life down a lot more than I did back in those early days to cherish it all so much. I guess mothers just want to make time stand still.

He is just one darling little red head!!!!! My daddy was a red head. I always wanted red hair. Not to be. Enjoy that precious baby! He will be in first grade shortly! OR better still, stomping his foot and yelling, “NO!” Enjoy! Big hugs!

I remember when I would walk into his nursery and see his Brilliant Blue eyes Sparkle & a Smile that would make me teary! The love for our child….is endless, eternal. Enjoy every precious second Andie… he is so handsome, so so happy, loved & Healthy! You got this Mama <3
