Ooh, thanks so much for this post! We’re planning our honeymoon to Hawaii in September, but I’ve been so overwhelmed by all the options. Might just steal your itinerary haha! Question about the four seasons: How were the food prices and would you recommend going with any certain package? I’m torn between not wanting to make money decisions while on our honeymoon but also not knowing if the packages are worth it.

My husband and I got married July 22nd, 2017 and also went to Maui for our honeymoon February 8-18th. We did Maui and Oahu, to see Pearl Harbor and the Memorials. We got to see whales surfacing in the harbor, we were in West Maui and had a breakfast show every day from the Beach House.

Loved Fleetwood’s in Lahiana, and would recommend the helicopter tour over Maui & Molokai….. Thanks for sharing, love your books (I’m a Weight Watchers Leader who lives in central Wisconsin)… love the similarities we seem to share. You inspire me to find my middle Andie… Thanks so much!

First and foremost Andie, congratulations on your marriage!! Years ago you emailed me about a possible visit to Maui, but instead you went to Costa Rica with your lovely friend, Camille. That too looked like the trip of a lifetime!!! Maui has SO very much to offer! It sounds like you didn’t get to Hana. That alone is worth another trip. But do yourself a favor, stay at least two days out there as it takes almost 3 hours one way to drive the 52 miles of 620 curves and 46 one lane bridges. The views are stunning and Hana itself is the epitome of Hawaiian culture and a perfect example of the “hang loose” Hawaiian style of living. When you get back here, a trip to Lahaina Grill is a must! There’s a reason Maui no ka oi! Maui is the best!! I look forward to your Kauai post. It really doesn’t get anymore beautiful than Kauai. Sounds like a wonderful trip for your honeymoon. We went there for ours almost 48 years ago and it’s fun going back to celebrate ours on some years. We love FS Maui and Hualalai. They know how to make vacations special. Can’t wait to hear about Kauai. We have never been there, and it’s been on our list from quite some time. I just said, we needed to go there
