Hey friends!<\/p>\n

On Thursday night, I attended a party to celebrate the release of\u00a0my friend Julia Turshen’s delicious new cookbook, Small Victories<\/a>, (post to come on this masterpiece) thrown by the one, the only, Sofia Coppola. (Side note: If you’ve read my book, you know I spent a good part of my early twenties working\u00a0in film production, and the better part of my life in a\u00a0movie theater.\u00a0Lost in Translation is one of my favorites. When I got the invitation, I needed to lie down and have Daniel place a cold washcloth on my forehead. OK I’m realizing now that this is not a side note; it’s a paragraph.)\u00a0The party was beautiful, lively, and just so warm with\u00a0love for Julia. And of course, it was exactly\u00a0as New York chic as I would have imagined–save for me, who sweated a great deal.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0love a\u00a0sparkling wine. At the party, I really loved\u00a0the Sofia Mini<\/a> cans of wine–these tiny single serving cans of sparkling Sofia Blanc de Blancs wine\u00a0that\u00a0taste like fresh pears, melon, and honeysuckle.<\/span>\u00a0They’re cute, crisp, and refreshing, and I love the size and portability. I think they’d make a sweet gift!<\/p>\n
